The land outside of Midgar city is initially closed to our movement. But momentum builds as we conquer new territories and discover the unknown behind them. When new areas are discovered or new items are acquired, the story progresses. In Final Fantasy VII, progress is dependent on the player's efforts to begin with. This means players must fight hard from the very beginning in order to continue.


Materia

In Final Fantasy VII, skills are linked to Materia, special gems able to be placed in specific locations on Weapons and Armor pieces. Instead, players just need to physically attack when prompted. In order to use special skills, use spells, or get a Limited Break move, you need to wait before your energy bar refills. This is because the RPG game's pace and tempo don't mesh with the breaks in rhythm. However, the time it takes to fill up your energy bar makes for an entertaining down-up cycle.

Story

The mobile version of Final Fantasy VII features many of the same gameplay and plot elements as its PC counterpart. Cloud was injured and unconscious when the AVA LANCHE group attacked the Mako nuclear reactors in Midgar city. One attack by the group was stopped when they became trapped in a vaulted room. The resulting explosion injured Cloud further and put him into a coma. Before escaping, Aeris met Cloud and enlisted his help. Unfortunately, she was still captured afterward. After AVALANCHE broke into Shinra's main facility, they successfully rescued Aeris from her imprisonment. However, another villain much more powerful than Shinra appeared and destroyed their entire system.
