There are five heroic occupations in Monolisk: Hunter, Mechanic, Magician, Sword Master and Warrior. Additionally, the title features neutral jobs— a type of heroic occupation that players can choose from throughout the story. Each occupation comes with a set of equipment and fighting styles, as well as different abilities, stats and more. Players can use these characteristics to create their own fight style by mixing and matching various pieces from each occupation. To play Monolisk, players assemble weapons, skillsets and equipment from a deck of cards. Each item is designed with ease of use in mind; players can customize each card to represent their chosen career. Several cards display the environment's construction materials and even enemies already present in the dungeons. Card packs are a game mechanic used in this mode that allows players to exchange cards with one another. Purchasing card packs allows each player to receive a maximum of 5 random cards. These cards can be used to improve or upgrade aspects of dungeons or characters that the players don’t like. By exchanging cards with other players, players can improve the shortcomings of their characters and dungeons. The game will include many different dungeons with different kinds of monsters. These dungeons let players collect, explore or fight. After completing a level, players receive a score based on how long they managed to keep the screen active.
